Why Apple resale value stays high
Apple supports its devices with software updates far longer than most Android manufacturers, so a four-year-old iPhone is still a perfectly usable daily phone in 2026. That demand keeps secondhand pricing strong, and it is why we can pay more for Apple hardware than for equivalent-age competitors.
Storage matters more on Apple devices too. A 1TB iPhone Pro Max or a 16GB-RAM MacBook Pro can be worth hundreds more than the base configuration, so always tell us the exact spec.
Sign out before you sell
Activation Lock is the single biggest reason an Apple sale falls apart. Before you meet us, open Settings, tap your name, and sign out of iCloud, or use Find My on another device to remove the item from your account. For a Mac, sign out of iCloud and, on Intel machines, clear any firmware password.
Once the device is signed out, erase all content and settings. We will verify at the meetup that Activation Lock is off before paying.

Yes, and remaining AppleCare+ coverage can slightly increase what we pay because it transfers with the device.
Will you buy an iCloud-locked iPhone?
No. An activation-locked device cannot be legally resold or reactivated, so it has no value to us. Sign out first.
Do you buy older Apple products?
We buy most Apple hardware from the last six to seven years. Send us the model and we will tell you honestly if it is worth the trip.
