We Buy PlayStation 5 Consoles in Dallas

Which PS5 do you have?

Model matters more than hours played. Check the sticker on the back of the console for the CFI model number if you are not sure.

• PS5 Pro — the highest-value model we buy
• PS5 Slim with disc drive, including the detachable-drive versions
• PS5 Slim Digital Edition
• Original launch PS5, disc or digital

Accessories are worth bringing

Extra DualSense controllers, the DualSense Edge, a PlayStation Portal, a PSVR2 headset, the detachable disc drive, and the vertical stand all add to your total. Bring the HDMI and power cables — a console without cables is harder for us to test on the spot.

Condition and function checks

We power the console on, check for fan noise and overheating, test the disc drive if present, confirm HDMI output, and inspect the shells for cracks and yellowing. Liquid damage or a previously opened console with missing screws changes the grade, so mention any repair history.

Factory reset and deactivate

Go to Settings → System → System Software → Reset Options and choose Reset Your Console. Also deactivate it as your primary PS5 so your digital library and subscriptions are not tied to hardware you no longer own.
